DistroKid can get your music on TikTok

You’ve probably heard of TikTok.

It’s the one of the most popular apps in the world and has been downloaded over a billion times.

TikTok is an app where people create and share short videos (typically 15 seconds long) with music in the background. It’s where “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X (longest-running #1 single in history) found its initial audience and took off as a viral hit.

Independent artists can now use DistroKid to get their music on TikTok.

This is free and available to all DistroKid members. Here’s how to get your music on TikTok:

• New music: Select the TikTok checkbox when uploading your music to DistroKid.
• Old music: Sign in to DistroKid, select your album, click lick “Add to more stores," and add TikTok. If you don’t see TikTok there, congrats, you must’ve opted in when uploading your music and it’s already been added.

Artists have been asking us to add TikTok on a daily basis. Done!
